Frances L. Naylor and Opal H. Kirby Scholarship Fund

The Donors may designate any portion of Donors’ gifts to net income in a given year. The net income of the Fund shall be used to provide an annual scholarship of at least $1,000.00 to a female student enrolled as an undergraduate in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee shall determine the recipient and timing of the scholarship, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials and in accordance with the existing guidelines for the Jonathan Baldwin Turner Agricultural Scholarship Program. Preference shall be given to students who live south of Interstate 70 and who have a program interest in any of the following departments: Agricultural and Consumer Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Sciences, Food Science and Human Nutrition, Human and Community Development, and Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. The scholarship shall be known as the “Frances L. Naylor and Opal H. Kirby JBT Scholarship” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
