Martin Burrus Memorial JBT Scholarship Fund

The net income from the Fund shall be used to support the Jonathan Baldwin Turner Agricultural Scholarship Program in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Dean of the college of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships, upon receiving input from the Donors and subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials and in accordance with the existing guidelines for the Jonathan Baldwin Turner Agricultural Scholarship Program. It is the Donors’ first preference that the scholarship Awards be given to qualified students entering into Crop Sciences as a major from down state Illinois (South of Interstate 80 in Illinois). Scholarship awards shall be known as the “Martin Burrus Memorial Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
