David L. and Janice M. Hawkinson Family Endowed JBT Scholarship Fund

The Foundation is authorized to retain the assets contributed to the Fund or the Foundation may sell or exchange any of said assets and reinvest the proceeds in accordance with established Foundation policies and procedures. The principal and net income, if any, of the Fund (hereinafter called “Fund Assets”) shall be defined and distributed in accordance with established Foundation policies and procedures upon the following terms and conditions: The Fund Assets shall be used to support the Jonathan Baldwin Turner Scholarship Program in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships to be awarded, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials and in accordance with the existing guidelines for the Jonathan Baldwin Turner Agricultural Scholarship Program. Scholarship awards shall be known as the “David L. and Janice M. Hawkinson Family JBT Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
