Warren K. Wessels Achievement Award Application

Net income shall be used for the Academy. Uses may include, but are not limited to: improve and enhance the quality of teaching in the College; identify, plan and implement ways to improve instruction; advance and revitalize curricula and reward excellence in teaching; conduct seminars, symposia, workshops and student-faculty roundtable discussions; produce teaching enhancement grants to help selected faculty improve course programs and teaching/learning materials. Preference shall be given for the enhancement of the Freshman Discovery program (formerly AG 100 class) or any educational program to help College of Agriculture freshman students to be more adequately prepared for their ensuing college education and professional alumni careers. Consideration may also be given for student awards in honor of Warren Wessel’s distinguished contributions to the well-being of College of Agriculture students and alumni. The awards shall be known as Warren K. Wessels Awards. Net income shall be made available to the College of ACES by the Foundation upon request from the Dean of the College of ACES. The Dean shall determine the uses of the net income. Unexpended net income may be added to the principal of the Fund or accumulated and used in subsequent years.
