Tomlin Scholarship
Net income shall support educational endeavors in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences through undergraduate scholarships. It is the donor’s wish that net income shall support academic programs that emphasize preserving rural lands in the United States of America. Scholarships shall be awarded to full-time students with priority given to students from rural areas of Mason County, Illinois and shall be known as Tomlin Scholarships. Scholarships shall be in amounts adequate for tuition, fees, books, room and board. Should no students from rural areas of Mason County, Illinois qualify for scholarships, students from other rural areas of Illinois shall be considered. The Dean of the College of ACES shall determine the use of the net income. Unexpended net income may be reinvested in the principal or accumulated and used in subsequent years.
