James F. Evans Scholarship in Agriculture Communications

The net income from the Fund shall be used to support an annual scholarship(s) to a junior or senior student majoring in Agricultural Communications in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The selection of scholarship recipients shall be based on evidence of leadership shown in Agricultural Communication activities and/or campus activities and outstanding potential to make a positive contribution to the professional field of agricultural communications. The Head of the Department of Human and Community Development, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Scholarships shall be known as the “James F. Evans Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
