Robert L. Zimmer Memorial Scholarship

The net income from the Fund shall be used to provide scholarships to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agriculture, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus. The scholarship(s) shall be known as ROBERT L. ZIMMER SCHOLARSHIP; the students shall be known as ZIMMER SCHOLARS. Scholarships shall be granted to students who are enrolled in the Agricultural Communications curriculum with a major in news editorial or broadcast journalism. Scholarship(s) shall be based on academic merit. Students who receive the scholarship(s) and the amount of each scholarship shall be determined by the Dean, or designee(s), College of Agriculture, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus in consultation with the Head of the Administrative Unit responsible for Agricultural Communications programs and curricula, or designee(s), College of Agriculture, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus subject to approval of the appropriate University of Illinois officials.
