W.F. Coolidge Scholarship
The net income shall be used annually to provide an award or awards to an undergraduate student(s) in the College of Agriculture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who have demonstrated a sincere interest in employment with Cooperative Extension Service. The Dean of the College with the advice and recommendation of the Awards Committee of the Alpha Nu chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi (an organization composed solely of Illinois Cooperative Extension employees), the State Leader for Extension Education of the Illinois Cooperative Extension Service, and the Director of the Illinois Cooperative Extension Service, shall select the scholarship recipients. The number of awards and the amount of each award shall be determined by the Director of the Illinois Cooperative Extension Service, after due consideration of the net income available and the number of qualified candidates. If during any year all of the net income is not fully expended, the unexpended net income may be added to the principal or may be accumulated and used for the purposes designated herein in subsequent years.
