Gordon E. and Doris L. Thompson Scholarship

The fund shall be used to provide need based scholarships to students enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The scholarships shall be awarded based upon academic merit, financial need, and strength in church and leadership activities to students reared in a family actively engaged in farming. The total annual scholarship awards shall be no less than $1,500.00 to be divided among one or more recipients from Knox or Peoria Counties in Illinois. First preference shall be for students graduating from Knoxville or Elmwood, Illinois High Schools.
