Bennie L. Johnson Endowed Scholarship

The Fund shall be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate students, preferably junior or senior students, enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The scholarships shall be based on academic merit and/or financial need. Scholarships shall be awarded to one or more students from Peoria or Knox Counties. First preference shall be for students active in the Illinois 4-H program who have junior or senior status. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships to be awarded, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Scholarship awards shall be known as the “Bennie L. Johnson Endowed Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
