David R. Jenkins and Mary J. Mattern-Jenkins Scholarship

Gifts received in fulfillment of the pledge shall be used to provide a scholarship each year to a transfer student with preference given to a member of the Illinois Junior Angus Association or any student in said College with an interest in beef cattle. In any event, the recipient shall be a student as close as possible to this description. The Dean of said College, or designee, shall determine the recipient and timing of the scholarship, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials.
