Charles E. and Maxine L. Erickson Scholarship

The net income from the Fund shall be used to provide scholarships to incoming freshmen entering the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The eligible recipients shall be residents of either Kankakee County, Illinois or Sangamon County, Illinois. Scholarships shall be provided as closely as possible to an equal number of students from each county. The scholarships shall be renewable for up to three additional years. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences shall determine the recipients, amount and timing of the scholarships to be awarded, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Scholarship awards shall be known as the “Charles E. and Maxine L. Erickson Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
