Jonathan M. and Judith D. Groesbeck Scholarship in honor of Harold E. Dustin

The principal and net income, if any, of the Fund (hereinafter called “Fund Assets”) shall be held and disbursed upon the terms and conditions prescribed herein. 50% of the Fund Assets shall be used to provide scholarships to students in the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 50% of the Fund Assets shall be used to provide scholarships to students in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Recipients shall be selected based upon academic merit. The recipients shall maintain a 3.0 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale and may be renewable for a total of up to four years. Financial need may be considered. Preference shall be given to high school graduates, in no particular order, of Toulon High School in Toulon, Illinois; Wethersfield High School in Kewanee, Illinois; or Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, Illinois, with additional consideration given to high school graduates from Henry and Stark Counties in Illinois. However, if there are no qualifying students from the high schools or counties of preference, the scholarships may be awarded to other students who fulfill the remaining criteria. The Dean of the College of Business, or designee, and the Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships to be awarded in their respective colleges, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Scholarship awards shall be known as the “Jonathan M. and Judith D. Groesbeck Scholarship in honor of Harold E. Dustin” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
