Edward L. Whitaker Award

One-half (50%) of the net income therefrom shall be used to provide awards to incoming undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Edward L. Whitaker Awards shall be merit based and may be renewable for up to an additional three years provided the student maintains good academic standing and progress towards earning his or her degree. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the awards, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Preference shall be given to students from high schools in the following Illinois counties in the order listed: Mason, Menard, and Tazewell County other than East Peoria and Pekin high schools.
