Carl DeHart Memorial Farm Scholarship

To provide scholarships for worthy graduates from the high school located in Villa Grove, Illinois, and desiring to enter the College of Agriculture at the University of Illinois. I desire that they limit the scholarships to approximately three (3) students in each year as recommended by the Superintendent of Schools fof the school district serving Villa Grove, Illinois, from graduates having a standing in the upper half of their class during their last two years in high school. In the event there are earnings or money on hand for more scholarships than there are applicants available, then the Trustees may use the surplus income over $5,000.00 for any other purpose that it may desire within the scope of activities of the College of Agriculture in consultation with the Dean of the College of Agriculture of the University of Illinois.
