Byron and Wilma Wright Memorial Scholarship

The net income from the Fund shall be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Scholarship recipients shall be full-time students enrolled in a program within the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. Preference shall be given to students from McDonough, Hancock, or Henderson Counties in Illinois. Second preference shall be students from the central Illinois area. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships to be awarded, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Said support shall be applied directly to the annual tuition and fees charged to the recipients. Scholarship awards shall be known as the “Byron and Wilma Wright Memorial Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
