Mamer Scholarship

The net income from the Fund shall be used for scholarships to be awarded annually to undergraduate students of at least junior standing who are enrolled in a curriculum of the School of Human Resources and Family Studies. The Director of the School of Human Resources and Family Studies, subject to the approval of appropriate University officials, shall select the scholarship recipients with the advice and counsel of staff members of the School. The number and amount of the scholarship shall be determined by the Director after consideration of the available income and the number of scholarship candidates. Scholarship recipients shall be selected on the basis of academic merit with priority given to those students who show a special interest in the field of Household Equipment or Energy or who have participated in activities of the Association of Electrical Cooperatives of Illinois. Other criteria deemed appropriate by the Director or staff of the School of Human Resources and Family Studies also may be used in the selection of scholarship recipients.
