Ida Bruner Johnson Scholarship
One half (1/2) of net income shall be used to support the Ida Bruner Johnson scholarships in the School of Human Resources and Family Studies, College of Agriculture, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus according to the following guidelines: Scholarship recipients shall be full-time undergraduate students in the School of Human Resources and Family Studies. The scholarships shall be granted solely on the basis of academic merit. It is the donor’s wish that students in the upper classes (juniors and seniors) receive scholarships; that these students shall have a combined GPA placing them in the upper 20% of students in the School of Human Resources and Family Studies at the time the scholarships are granted. The scholarships shall be known as “Ida Bruner Johnson Scholarship(s).” The recipient(s) shall be known as “Ida Bruner Johnson Scholar(s).” The scholarships shall be granted to students who are majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child/Adolescent Development. Decision as to the a) student(s) who shall receive the scholarship(s); b) number of scholarship(s) to be awarded and c) the amount of each scholarship(s) shall be determined by the Dean, College of Agriculture, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, or designee(s) in consultation with the Director, School of Human Resources and Family Studies or designated faculty with responsibility in Human Resources and Family Studies subject to the approval of the appropriate University of Illinois officials.
