Gary J. Ash/1st Farm Credit Services Scholarship

To support scholarships for undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Scholarships will be for undergraduate students beginning their junior year from one of the northern 42 counties served by 1st Farm Credit Services at the time of the execution of this agreement. Preference shall be given to students who have deomonstrated academic achievement and leadership in the College while pursuing degrees in the departments of animal sciences, crop sciences, or agricultural and consumer economics. For students considered from the department of agricultural and consumer economics, only those students with concentrations in agribusiness markets & management; agricultural accounting; finance in agribusiness; farm management; policy, international trade, and development; or public policy and law shall be considered. Preference shall also be given to students from a farm background.
