K Virginia Seidel Scholarship

The net income shall be used to provide merit based scholarships to undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The recipients of the scholarships shall be engaged in the study of curricula related to home economics. In the first instance, preference shall be given to a student from Marion County, Illinois and in the second instance, preference shall be given to a student from counties surrounding Marion County. Subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials, selection of the scholarship recipients shall be made by the Dean of the College, or his or her designee.
