George Earl and Mary Ellen Miller Scholarships

The net income from the Fund shall be used to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Scholarships awarded shall be based on academic merit to students who have achieved junior or senior standing and who have demonstrated an interest in sustainable agriculture. In any given year for which there are no scholarship candidates as described above, scholarships shall be awarded to students interested in farm management. The Dean of the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences or designee, shall determine the recipients, amount, and timing of the scholarships, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials. Scholarships awarded shall be known as the “George Earl and Mary Ellen Miller Scholarships” and shall be appropriately recognized and publicized.
