Francis W. Kittinger Scholarships
The net income from the Fund will be used annually to provide scholarships to be known as the Francis W. Kittinger Scholarships in accordance with the following criteria: The scholarship recipients shall be undergraduate students, and may include incoming freshmen, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The scholarship recipient shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and shall be majoring in any curriculum of said College relating to Agriculture and/or Home Economics. The scholarship recipients shall have maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a scale of 5.0) for all coursework completed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In selecting the scholarship recipients, preference will be given to students from Hamilton County, Illinois. Subject to the approval of appropriate University of Illinois officials, the Dean of the College of Agriculture of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, or his or her designee, shall select the scholarship recipients and determine the number and amount of scholarships to be awarded. The maximum amount of each scholarship shall be the cost of tuition, lab fees and books.
