Raymond J. Fitzpatrick Family Scholarship

The net income from the Fund shall be used to award scholarships, to be known as the Raymond J. Fitzpatrick Family Scholarships, to students enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in accordance with the following criteria: a. The scholarship recipients shall be enrolled in the College of Agriculture. b. The scholarship recipients shall be graduate students or undergraduate students who have completed at least sixty (60) hours of college or university coursework. c. Preference shall be given to students who have demonstrated an interest in agricultural environmental problems and the resolution of such problems for the benefit of human health. Subject to the approval of appropriate University of Illinois officials, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, or his or her designee, annually shall select the recipients of the Raymond J. Fitzpatrick Family Scholarships and shall determine the number and amount of the scholarship awards. If during any year, all of the net income from the Fund is not expended, the unexpended net income may be added to the principal of the Fund or may be accumulated and used for scholarship awards as described herein in subsequent years.
